Right now I'm trying to settle down enough to go to sleep early. It's just not gonna happen. Who needs sleep anyway? I'll sleep when I get tired. I'll sleep tomorrow night. Sleep's over-rated.
I'm making oatmeal cookies. That's in addition to about 10 pounds of snacks.
Listening to the speeches at the Lincoln Memorial Free Concert today...I was choked up. When Queen Latifah talked about Anderson being barred by the DAR. Wow. My kids are related to DAR on Damon's side. They have a DAR cousin.
I want to be standing there on the Mall. I don't give a damn how cold it is!

I watch the proceedings on television and am so touched/amazed/overwhelmed at times...it will be that much moreso in person, sharing the hugely positive energy with all those other people with equally open hearts. I'm in your camp from afar, friend.
