pre-trip drivel

Now that I'm a published blogger I feel responsible to report in every day! Today I bought a bag of nuts to eat during the inauguration. I'm bringing nuts, water, a sandwich and a thermos. Susan has loaned me her thermal T-neck which should keep me totally warm. So food and warmth are covered. I'm also greatly relieved that I was able to fix my broken Nikon Coolpix. It just needed a new memory card. Trixie has chewed through the cord that connects the camera to my laptop. I'll have to replace that before I leave.
