So now my camera cord problem is solved. I bought this little gadget that attaches right on the computer and you just slip the memory chip into it. No cords involved. (So how about THAT Trixie!?! )
I'm surprised I'm not having more second thoughts about this. I hate to be cold. What if I never even make it to the mall. What if it's SO overcrowded that I can't even get on the metro to get to the mall. What if there's a huge crush of people and no one can move and people are trampled and there's no bathrooms anywhere and the Jumbotrons aren't working and I totally miss the inauguration that I could have seen on my TV in the warm comfort of home? I have watched all of those thoughts filter through over the past few weeks - but none of them stuck around. I know it's going to be a good experience. Some things you just know. Or maybe I'm just a hopeless optimist.
